Atziri Barboza joined the Central Valley Health Policy Institute (CVHPI) in October 2021. At CVHPI, she helps with COVID-19 education, COVID-19 prevention, contact tracing, and provides resources to the Spanish Speaking Community during the weekly Spanish Calls. She graduated from California State University, Fresno with a B.A. in Chemistry and a minor in General Business. While at CVHPI, she hopes to gain more knowledge about public health and health policy in the Central Valley. Her ultimate career goal is to become a physician and return to serve the Central Valley. She enjoys traveling, gardening, and spending time with family and friends
