Amber Shaver
Monitoring, Learning, and Evaluation Specialist
Amber Shaver (Costantino) is the Monitoring, Learning, and Evaluation (MLE) Specialist at the Central Valley Health Policy Institute (CVHPI). Amber graduated
in 2016 with a M.A. in Experimental Psychology from California State University, Fresno.
During her graduate studies, Amber gained experience as a data analyst intern at CART
High School and UCSF Fresno Medical Center. After earning her masters, Amber became
a Research Data Analyst at the Central Valley Health Policy Institute and part-time
faculty in the Psychology Department at California State University, Fresno. She joined
the Fresno County Preterm Birth Initiative in 2017 and continued to work closely with
the CVHPI, where she has contributed to multiple health-centered projects. In 2019,
she returned to CVHPI where she continues to track and research efforts to improve
birth outcomes and overall health outcomes in Fresno County.
