Dortha Crisp is a Recruitment & Retention Specialist with Fresno State's CVHPI EMBRACE Study. In 2019 Dortha was a participant of Glow! Group Prenatal Care Phase 2 and had a life changing experience. This encouraged her to want the same for others and she thankfully landed a spot on the EMBRACE team soon after her son was born.
Since then Dortha has continued to engage in recruiting eligible women to participate in Fresno State and UCSF’s scientific study in hopes to build awareness and help refine prenatal care in a way that benefits our community.
Dortha has lived in Fresno all her life and now resides with her husband, their son, and 5 adopted dogs. She is determined to improve pregnancy outcomes for moms and babies everywhere. One step at a time.
