Jacqueline CortezJacqueline Cortez graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology with a minor in Health Science from California State University, Fresno in 2011. She is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Applied Anthropology from the University of North Texas in addition to a Master of Public Health from the University of North Texas Health Science Center.

Jacqueline joined the Central Valley Health Policy Institute in June of 2015. Born and raised in the Central San Joaquin Valley, Jacqueline is committed to issues related to the built environment, food systems, health policy, (im)migrant health, health-seeking behavior, and their relation to chronic disease management.
