Jazmine believes that health equity can be achieved through policies at both the government and organizational level. Since her undergraduate career at Knox College in Illinois, she has been interested in people gaining timely access to quality health and social services. She graduated college in 2016 with degrees in Chemistry and Public Health, and then moved to the Central Valley to attend UC Merced for the Public Health PhD Program. She has been on a number of qualitative research studies and has gained interest in Evaluation through both public health coursework and other research projects. At CVHPI, she currently works on the Learning and Evaluation Teams for Building Healthy Communities Fresno and Merced, assessing these programs and their accomplishments over the past 10 years and the transition into the next 10 years. Jazmine was raised in Los Angeles, but has grown to love the Central Valley's thriving communities, wholesome people, and topography. One of her favorite things about the Central Valley is the wild sunflowers that grow on the side of roads in the summer.
