Karina Corona received a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Environmental Biology from the University of California, Berkeley in May 2014. She joined the Central Valley Health Policy Institute as a Research Assistant in 2017. She has worked on several projects related to health equity and social determinants of health in the San Joaquin Valley. Future plans for Karina include earning a M.D. degree and returning to serve vulnerable and underserved populations in the San Joaquin Valley, working towards social justice and health equity.
