Mary is familiar with many of the obstacles and unrecognized hardships that prevent non-traditional, first-generation students like herself from pursuing higher education, or even making it through high school. She wishes to pursue a Master’s in School Counseling and create environments for students that are culturally sustaining and community engaging. Mary is a foodie and has an appreciation for all things sweet, in her free time, she likes trying out new food experiences.
