Myrka joined CVHPI in June 2021, in the hopes of gaining more insight into public health and health policy in the Central Valley. She currently helps lead and present the weekly English and Spanish Calls on community resources, COVID-19 statistics in Fresno County, and current testing and vaccination sites. She is a Fresno State graduate with aspirations of attending medical school and returning to serve the Central Valley. Having worked in the Emergency Department at Valley Children's Healthcare for a few years, she developed a passion for Pediatrics and hopes to specialize in this field one day. In her free time, she likes to spend her days with family, friends, and adorable puppy Togepi.
