Ranvir Johal is a research assistant at Central Valley Health Policy Institute (CVHPI). Ranvir recently graduated in 2020 with a B.S in Biology from the University of California, Los Angeles. During his undergrad, Ranvir participated in and helped organize numerous free health clinics and provided health education resources to promote local community wellness. Currently he is helping with the Nutrition Education and Obesity Prevention program here at CVHPI. Ranvir is excited to learn more about the unique barriers to healthcare access and equity here in the Central Valley and aspires to become a physician in order to help mitigate these barriers. His hobbies include playing sports, reading, and petting his dog.
