Satvinder Kaur Dhaliwal has been working as a statistician at Central Valley Health Policy Institute since August 2020. She has a BS in Anthropology from UCLA and an MPH with concentrations in biostatistics and global health from Boston University. Satvinder is currently a PhD candidate in Epidemiology at the Colorado School of Public Health; her research explores intergenerational transmission of stress across social determinants of health. At CVHPI, Satvinder works on the COVID Equity Project and provides technical support on other projects as needed. She hopes to continue research exploring intergenerational experiences that impact health and advocating for representation of marginalized populations in research. In her free time, Satvinder loves hiking, baking, traveling across the world, creating new embroidery patterns, and spending time with her dog.
