Captain Brett A. Mason
BIOGRAPHY
Captain Mason is an Assistant Professor of Aerospace Studies at Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) Detachment 035, Fresno State. In this capacity he is responsible for the recruitment, evaluation, and development of prospective Air Force officer.
Prior to his AFROTC assignment, Captain Mason served as the Assistant Maintenance Operations Officer for the 412th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron at Edwards Air Force Base. He led aircraft generation and maintenance for 53 uniquely-modified T-38, F-16, F-22, & F-35 aircraft in support of the 412th Test Wing’s mission to effectively perform developmental test & evaluation for the Air Force.
Captain Mason graduated from AFROTC Detachment 035 at Fresno State in 2011. He is a senior Aircraft Maintenance Officer with experience on the B-52H, RQ-4B, U-2, T-38, F-16, F-22, & F-35 airframes. He has generated sorties in support of Pacific Air Force’s Continuous Bomber Presence, Operations INHERENT RESOLVE and FREEDOM’S SENTINEL, & Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa.
