Alzheimer's Association International Conference (AAIC) 2026

Congratulations to Jordan Kozuki (pictured below) and fellow students from Dr. Ellen Woo's  and Dr. Nupur Hajela's research team, whose collaborative research, "Prospective Memory Predicts Everyday Functioning Over and Above Retrospective Memory in Mild Cognitive Impairment," was presented as a poster at the Alzheimer's Association International Conference (AAIC) 2026 in London. Co-authored with Lily Wilkin, Omar Alcaraz, Ling Sar, Chris Miller, Matthew J. Wright, Dr. Hajela, and Dr. Woo, the study reflects the strength of cross discipline mentorship from Psychology dept and Dept of Physical Therapy  in advancing Alzheimer's research. We're proud to see our students making an impact on this important work at the world stage.

National Science Foundation Grant 

Dr. Hovannes Kuhlhandjian was the recipient of a $50,000 federal grant to support an AI Literacy Initiative for K–12 classrooms. The project aims to expand AI education by developing accessible learning experiences and resources that help K–12 students and educators build foundational AI knowledge and skills while preparing the future workforce for an AI-driven world.
