The Interdisciplinary Development Extramural Associate (IDEA) award from the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development provides funding to support faculty incentive program proposals submitted by research teams of interdisciplinary faculty and students. Beginning 2009-10 through 2012-13 there is $40,000 in funding available per year for faculty research related opportunities.
