Hatun Zengin-Bolatkale

Dr. Zengin-Bolatkale is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Communicative Sciences & Deaf Studies at California State University, Fresno. She has more than a decade of experience doing research, teaching, and working clinically in the field of speech-language pathology, with a specific focus on developmental stuttering. She completed her clinical master’s degree at University of Illinois and her clinical fellowship and doctoral studies at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She has experience working as an assistant professor on research track at Vanderbilt University, and as an assistant professor at Istanbul Medipol University. As a dedicated teacher-scholar, she received extensive training in teaching and pedagogy in higher education. In addition to mentoring graduate and undergraduate student research projects, she has taught a wide range of courses in the area of speech pathology including fluency disorders, multilingualism, child language disorders, neurogenic & acquired communication disorders, voice disorders, and dyslexia.
