Dr. Denise Ramirez is an Assistant Professor at California State University, Fresno
in the Department of Kinesiology. Her emphasis is to increase physical activity through
education and promotion of community awareness, enhance personal outcomes with the
support of mental skills training, and investigate gender relationships in kinesiology.
Additionally, she is collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team on an applied research
study investigating COVID-19 mask adherence and distancing in public parks and commercial
areas.
