Rachael Castro is a Workforce Development Specialist at California State University,
Fresno Foundation, where she manages and coordinates training programs for the Central
CA/Bay Area Adult Protective Services Training Academy. With over 20 years of experience,
Rachael has supervised and mentored case managers to improve services and housing
stability for low-income and chronically homeless populations in affordable housing.
As a Housing Coordinator within a domestic violence DV, sexual assault SA, and human
trafficking HT agency, she developed a supportive housing program for survivors of
(DV, SA & HT). Rachael holds a BA in Sociology with a minor in Women’s Studies
from San Jose State University and has completed advanced coursework in Urban Planning.
Combining bilingual skills with a passion for community well-being, Rachael drives
impactful initiatives and fosters positive change across diverse communities.
