School of Nursing

Empowering Healthcare Leaders

Home to the largest university in the Central San Joaquin Valley, Fresno State's accredited nursing program offers state of the art nursing skills and simulation laboratories, fully equipped classrooms and the possibility of online courses. Being in the heart of the Valley provides our students an advantage of gaining hands-on learning and training at four of the largest hospitals in the region.

With the scope of nursing practice changing significantly, professional nurses and healthcare practitioners equipped with  theory and research-based knowledge is needed now more than ever, as it provides direct and indirect care to individuals and families in our community and beyond.

The School of Nursing is proud to offer an undergraduate program which leads to the Bachelor of Science in Nursing, a post-baccalaureate School Nurse Services Credential Program, a graduate program leading to a Master of Science in Nursing, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice program.
