Applications & Deadlines

The MSN Program Admission is every Fall.

The application period opens on October 1 and closes on May 1, at 11:59PM Eastern Standard Time (8:59PM Pacific Standard Time)

You must complete 2 applications for the Graduate Nursing Program

1. Applicants must apply to the California State University, Fresno, via CalStateApply
     Application Period: October 1 to May 1

2. Applicants also must be admitted to the Program. You must apply to the School of Nursing, via NursingCAS to submit your application. 
     Application Deadline: May 1, 11:59PM Eastern Standard Time (8:59 Pacific Standard Time)

• Admission to the program is limited to the fall semester; students with deficiencies are encouraged to meet the requirements in the previous spring semester 
• Complete and submit School of Nursing graduate program written essay (Essay Instructions)
• Three (3) letters of recommendation uploaded into NursingCAS by your recommender (Letter Guidelines)
• Request your official transcripts to be sent to NursingCAS (instruction in NursingCAS)

All applications, letters of recommendation, transcripts, and other supporting documents must be received by BOTH the University (via CalStateApply) and the School of Nursing Graduate Program (NursingCAS) by Program Application closing date (May 1).
