Assistantships

In addition to our affordable tuition and academic awards, Fresno State offers a limited number of Graduate and Teaching Assistantships through the Department of Kinesiology.

Teaching associateships (TAs) are available to qualified students with experience in sport, fitness, or related fields. Graduate assistantships (GAs) are also available to qualified students.

Once you have applied to the program, contact the Graduate Program Coordinator Dr. Jenelle N. Gilbert (jgilbert@csufresno.edu) for a TA/GA application. Because the TA/GA positions are limited, the earlier you apply, the better chance you have of receiving a position.
