Sport Psychology

Welcome to Sport Psychology at California State University, Fresno. Formal training and research opportunities in sport psychology have existed since the late 1990's. The program expanded rapidly with the creation of the Student Sport Psychology Club in 2000 and the addition of the Graduate Option in Sport Psychology in 2003. Our mission is to provide quality educational experiences to individuals and groups about the theory and practice of sport and exercise psychology. This mission is accomplished by providing advanced training, conducting scientific research, and participating in community service.
