CPM for Supervisors

The IST is so excited to announce our first steps in supporting our Central Regional Supervisors. We have been working with Central Managers for 2 years now, and in partnership with managers, will be now supporting supervisors across the region as a cohort. Our first convening is a webinar on June 24th and again on June 29th, entitled, "Supervising in Child Welfare during Covid: Strategies that Promote Resilience, Cultural Humility, Fairness, and Equity.” This webinar is designed to honor the experiences of front-line child welfare leaders and to offer strategies for acknowledging and counteracting workforce and family trauma, exacerbated by Covid-19 and the heightened awareness around structural and systemic racism across public systems.

The IST will also be designing a 4 part webinar series, "CPM for Supervisors", this fall which will focus on the role of supervisors in CPM implementation. This series will be co-designed by regional managers and will provide grounded opportunities to practice both the family and the system level interventions that CPM provides.
