Graduate Program Curriculum
Our curriculum is designed to prepare graduate students to pursue (a) careers in cardiopulomonary rehabilitation; coaching; fitness, health promotion and wellness; performance enhancement consulting; sport administration; strength and conditioning; teaching (b) doctoral degrees in kinesiology, or specific fields such as education, exercise physiology/ exercise science, sport psychology, or social psychology, as well as further study in medically-related fields, and / or (c) certification through various professional organizations (e.g., AASP Certified Consultant, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Health Fitness Specialist).

The coursework comprises theory and practical applied information leading to a culminating experience that consists of the comprehensive exam, or with the assistance of a faculty advisor, a project or thesis.
