Yasmina Johnson is a Recruitment and Retention Specialist at Central Valley Health Policy Institute (CVHPI) for the EMBRACE Study. Yasmina is a current student at California State University, Fresno. She is currently working on her bachelor’s in psychology. In addition to the EMBRACE research study, she volunteers in Community Outreach with Harvest of Harmony in such projects as the Poverello House and Antioch Rocks youth activities. She aspires to become a school psychologist as well as get her credentials in order to teach although her love of research is increasingly growing. Yasmina is a coach, author, and speaker. As well as the business owner of “Just Say YA” a health and wellness company that encourages men and women to live happy, healthy lives in spirit, soul, and body. Yasmina was born in Panama and grew up in the Central Valley. She loves God, her family, and her community and improving the lives of residents in the Central Valley.
