Organization for Physical Therapy Students (OPTS)

The purpose of this organization is to provide an organization for the interaction of students of all undergraduate majors at Fresno State and any graduated student interested in the DPT program at Fresno State, as well as all those interested in the field of Physical Therapy. The 3 main goals of the club are to 1) bring awareness to the profession of Physical Therapy, both here at Fresno State as well as through the Fresno community and abroad 2) prepare the student for graduate school and the application process, particularly at Fresno State as well as promote the  Fresno State DPT program, and 3) provide a support system as members to each other with regards to taking classes, applying to graduate school etc. and creating an overall friendly and welcoming environment within our membership. We are on this journey together and we are here to support each other!

As an OPTS Member, you have an opinion that matters. We are interested in hearing what you have to say. But also as a new active member, there are some obligations that you have to the club. These obligations are used to keep this organization running smoothly. We hope to have a successful and active club on campus, but the only way for this to happen is with your participation.

Each member is required to pay a $10.00 membership fee for the entire academic year as well as a $10 polo fee. The dues need to be turned into the treasurer.

Filling out an info sheet with our Vice President and Club Outreach Officer allows the club to keep an updated and accurate database on its members.
