Explore the Master of Public Health Program
Our accredited, two-year Master of Public Health (MPH) Program provides future healthcare practitioners with the necessary skills, knowledge, and attitudes needed to effectively conduct public health assessments, program planning, implementation and evaluation, and applied research to address the needs of our communities.
Mission: To promote, preserve and restore health
Vision: To create healthy communities through sustainable public health strategies that address diversity, health equity and radical disparities.
This is accomplished by educating graduate students to be effective leaders and practitioners at the local, national, and international levels. The program also emphasizes community service with the underserved counties and state agencies, as well as develops professional opportunities for Master of Public Health program students and graduates.
A unique aspect of the Master of Public Health Program is that it addresses the health needs of the ethnically and socio-economically diverse communities living in the San Joaquin Valley of California. By improving the health of communities, we are committed to the pursuit of knowledge, professionalism, advocacy, diversity, and scholarship.
